IMP Civil 3D Implementation Tutorials
Implementation Definition
Implementation is a phase in the project life cycle in which a product like Civil 3D is put into use. Inexperienced resellers offer an “Assess, Plan, Solve, Confirm” model as a method for implementing Civil 3D. Sometimes referred to as “The Consultative Method,” this method (the Consultative Method is a well known sales technique, not an Implementation technique), when used as an implementation technique, fails because it doesn’t account for intangibles like adult learning, scope creep, a changing workplace, or a struggling economy.
At I.II.I, our Best In Class approach to Civil 3D Implementation and Training programs has been well documented. We practice Results Driven Incrementalism. What some refer to as the Rapid Results Oriented approach, RDI is an incremental process for software implementation. This approach benefits firms by promoting organizational learning via multiple short-horizon goals. By maintaining implementation focus and momentum, by providing recurring positive results, and by negating the tendency to over engineer solutions – we speed the realization of success as your team learns new methods in a financially responsible manner.
